Jim is client focused in his approach and revels in the one-on-one. He believes It?s about providing a valuable service while putting it all together for vendors, buyers, tenants and landlords. He is disciplined, hard-working and easy to get along with. Jim?s skillset ranges wide, from selling CBD office and character properties to large and small retail leasing around New Zealand.
He is fast paced, competitive, optimistic and confident . He recognises the importance of hard work and finding opportunities.
A high-achieving former New Zealand Softball representative competing at the highest levels, Jim has won a junior World Series in 1985 and Men's in 2004 whilst being the winning pitcher in the Championship game. Jim went on to be the pitching coach with the New Zealand Black Sox winning Silver medals in 2009 and a Gold medal in 2017. He also spent many summers playing on the USA fastpitch circuit and was inducted into the ISC World Hall of Fame in 2019.
Jim is a self starter, having set up 5 Subway restaurants across Wellington and Whakatane and is now in his sixteenth year of commercial real estate.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, training at the gym, golfing and fishing. He coaches his young son Robbie with the Poneke softball Club.
